Alana – “If You Give A Goat A Garden Salad”

If you give a goat a garden salad,

He’s going to ask for ranch dressing.

When you give him the ranch dressing,

He’ll probably need a fork.

Once the salad is eaten,

He’ll need to wash the dishes.

Now that the dishes are washed,

He’ll need a towel to dry his hands.

Once he dried his hands,

He might realize he forgot to do his homework.

So he’ll probably ask for a pencil.

Once he has a pencil,

He’ll probably need a piece of paper.

Then he’ll start writing.

He might get really into his paper and write 10 pages.

He may even draw a few pictures.

Once he’s done,

He’ll probably want to watch some TV

You’ll have to set up the couch with pillows and blankets.

He’ll sit down and pick out a movie.

Then he’ll probably ask you to make popcorn.

You’ll pop the popcorn and then he’ll ask for some butter.

After he eats the popcorn,

He’ll watch the rest of the movie

The popcorn will make him thirsty,

So he’ll ask for you to make him a smoothie.

Once you make the smoothie,

He might ask you for a straw.

After drinking the smoothie, he’ll go to the fridge,

Which will remind him that he’s still hungry.

So…

He’ll ask for ranch dressing.

And what’s ranch dressing without a garden salad to go with it.
